Impressionism for me brought the idea of the absolute freedom and invariably influenced more courageous expression through painting. Encouraged by this freedom, impressionism gave me endless dimensions of beauty, inspiration and truth, “The dash of Belle Époque”. This hallmark of truth coupled with freedom of expression allowed beauty to be the ultimate message.
Life is a bouquet arranged in different ways, directions and ultimate fate but with a very particular capacity to struggle for remaining life.
Life is the Ocean as well! You can choose whatever you prefer!

This cycle refers to my concept of a “Good Life” with a visionary attitude in attaining it after I arrived to the New World. Simultaneously this is period of my spiritual growth, release the internal stiffness I brought to this country on my own. Within a few years I did reach the internal equilibrium through acceptance of the true belief that I do have to work a lot in order to feel free. France measured up to my highest regard of artistic standards especially through impressionism. It was the bridge between New and Old World that I have built up over those years. Being privileged to live close to Metropolitan Museum of Art I was granted “Museum’s Rarity” and would often go to the very source of artistic expression to feed my soul. That is the answer to the question of my work, satirical likeness, impressionistic overtones and colors schemes coupled with inspiration came from? The feeling of uncertainty from the past was replaced with something more equilibrated and realistic, my authentic goal to seek truth as an artist and painter.

The interpretations the audience may read symbolically are strictly for the taking and freely given that they may reach their own conclusions. The truth of Globalization should not be kept in silence, one must articulate their opinions with an artistic view to express and illustrate their true thoughts.
The point is to go back to the source of the truth that penetrates a reaction reflected through current events. Painters have contributed tremendously to exposing historical truth using illustration and documenting the inevitable power of facts.

This opus is endless and it is still growing and living with me. Probably, it will flow and live after my life, as well. Not as the picture, but the global concept of something which is endless. Time leaves traces after itself in the deep blue sky and ocean, invisible for those who do not know how to look at them or listen to them. Those two phenomenons are united within me as the entity of eternal life and permanent repetition of everything that exists. Human beings are parts of stardust existing in the sky and mirroring itself in the ocean.

During my lifetime the people I met, got introduced to, or knew, have left the impression in me as a painter and the gifts of nobleness to my way of expression using painting to characterize my own family, children and experiences.
At the same time reflecting the reciprocity of love I share towards noble, beautiful, humane souls.
